Today Mike answered to some fan questions on twitter with the DJ Paul Van Dyk.Due to time zones, Shinoda arrived to the chat a few hours early and answered to some questions before the actual “meeting”.
This is one of the most important answers for me, personally:
~Q: Are there any unreleased or never- heard tracks?
~A: We have some unreleased demos, and we usually give them to members of http://www.lpunderground.com In fact, I’m currently putting together the next LPU album, with 10 never- before- heard Linkin Park demos

Q: Why do Linkin Park write their lyrics at the end and sign jiberish before? Who decides the final lyrics?
A: We sketch songs with rough vocals that sometimes have no words, then slowly turn the made up words into real words.
Q: When will the video for Lost In The Echo come out?
A: The visual/ video for Lost in The Echo will be ready this month, we think.
Q: Name a movie you would love to create music for!
A: I currently like what Netflix calls “Dark Independent” and “Mind Bending Thriller” David Fincher/ Christopher Nolan, etc
Q: Could you include instrumentals for all future singles?
A: Just yesterday, we talked about releasing accapellas and instrumentals for LIVING THINGS, actually.
Q: Name a video game you would make music for?
A: I just scored some levels for the upcoming Medal Of Honor Warfighter game.
Q: Mike, have you ever danced to Paul’s music in Spain at 6 AM?
A: Not yet, but it’s on my to- do list.
Q: Have you heard Die Antwoord? Would you tour with them?
A: We played shows with Die Antwoord on tour last year. They were incredible.
Q: What’s the weirdest thing you have got from a fan?
A: Their baby. I gave it back though.
Q: Where exactly are you tweeting from?
A: I am in NYC. Next show is in Mansfield, MA.
Q: Because you doin’ a tweetchat with Paul, can you tweet Spanish one time, please?
A: ¿por qué? No hablo Espanõl.
Q: Have you ever seen each other alive (Mike Shinoda and Paul Van Dyk)
A: I have not yet! Looking forward it asap.
Q: You’re a multi- instrumentalist, what are the musical instruments you can’t play, but you really wish you could?
A: I’ d love to be good at the drums. I play a little, but I’m terrible !
Q: Would you be a judge in a TV singing show if you were offered to ?
A: Probably not !
Q: Will I get to see ya on Wednesday at Jones Beach Theater? And should I bring Chester a rubber duck ?

A: Wall E
Q: Do you think a band who sounds terrible live, but awesome on the record can be considered a “good band” ?
A: They would be a “good live band.”
Q: What’s your main role in Linkin Park? Pianist? Guitarist? Vocalist? What Exactly?
A: I’m probably most focused on songwriting & producing. I play piano better than q=q=guitar, & rap better than sing.
Q: Do you watch Japanese Anime? If so, what’s your favorite?
A: My favorite anime films are Akira, Ghost In The Shell, and Princess Mononoke.
